Vacation Activities:

Sailing - You can do as much or as little as you'd like. Practice your skills or relax and enjoy the ride.

Snorkeling - We provide ev erything. Enjoy the starfish garden, Baths, Caves, Indians and many more.

Sightseeing - Sugar mills, rum distilleries, and miles of quiet, white sandy beaches.

Water Sports - Tubing, skiing, wakeboarding.

Fishing - Reel in the catch of the day.

Scuba - For certified divers, the BVI has amazing wrecks and reefs.

Nightlife - Foxy's, Quito's and the Willy T.

Limin - our faforite, Hang out and do nothing.

Captain/Mate Package

Why charter a bareboat when you can experience Bella Vita and her amenities with a captain and mate?

What's included: 2 full licensed experienced captaind, full use of yacht and water toys, full use of galley, galley equipment, and seasonings, all paper products, one gourmet meal prepared and served by chef, fuel.

What's not included: Food and beverages, Ice, water, customs and immigration fees, docking and mooring fees, BVI fishing license, 10% - 15% Crew gratuity.

Crew Profiles:
Happily married for 26 years with 4 kids, 2 grandchildren (and more on the way) we decided that the Caribbean would be the perfect place for a fun-filled next chapter in our lifes. We were looking for something different - to savor the tropical sun, lounge around with a cocktail in hand, and enjoy the white sandy beaches in our own tropical paradise.

Prompted by our love of sailing, our "empty nest" and a desire for a lifestyle change we decided to do what we loved. So, leaving behind a successful business and some shocked family and friends, we moved aboard Bella Vita.

We have been sailing for the past 17 Years. Our adventures have included cruising the U.S. east coast, the Caribbean and parts of the Med. Derek holds a US Coast Guard 50 ton license and Brenda, also a captain, has her US Coast Guard OUPV. Both are also open water dive certified and CPR/AED/First Aid certified.

About Derek:
Derek is a born and raised Southern Gentleman (even though he doesn't have much of the accent). He has owned successful businesses, coached comptetive soccer teams, served on the local YMCA board and believes in giving back to his community. On the surface Derek feels that vacations should be pretty simple; water, beach, a good book and sailing around with a cold drink in your hand.

About Brenda:
Brenda is a well traveled military brat (Air Force) but ended up in Raleigh, NC where she met Derek. Brenda is a succeful business woman, mom and an accomplished cook. Bring your appetite because the Bella Vita offers surprisingly diverse dining, with a culinary variety that includes Southern comfort foods and palate pleasing treats. But, don't count calories in the land of seafood, down-home fare like rice, grits, sweet potatoes and fresh fruit and vegetables. Brenda also offers Vegan and Heart Healthy menus as well. You will feel her warm and gracious North Carolina charm the moment you walk on-board.

About Lorrin:
Lorrin is our youngest daughter and a recent grad from UNC-Chapel Hill (finishing in just three years..Thank You Lorrin). She has also been very active with local YMCA camps serving as a camp counselor and unit leader. Lorrin currently lives on ST Thomas but joins us from time to time. She loves to be on board whenever our guests bring kids....leading snorkel tours, dancing on the tramp, making up games....lots of energy and fun.
